Description
Rhodium(III) acetylacetonate CAS: 14284-92-5 is a yellow crystalline powder, easily soluble in benzene, chloroform, acetone, ether, pentane, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol, and insoluble in water. Melting point 263-2644 ℃, decomposition temperature 280 ℃. It is an important precious metal catalyst.
Application
(1) Rh(acac)3 and hydroxypyridine catalyzed CO/H2 synthesis of ethylene glycol; Rh(acac)3 catalyzed selective reduction of dicarboxylic acid monoesters; Rh(acac)3/THF system was used to synthesize supernatant on silicon Microporous rhodium membrane catalyst.
(2) Using Pd(acac)2 and Rh(aChemicalbookcac)3 as precursors, metal and alloy coatings and films were prepared by CVD technology.
(3) It is used as a homogeneous catalyst for hydrosilation reaction, asymmetric redox reaction and the like.
(4) Preparation of Radix-supported catalyst.
(5) Preparation of nano-particles or nano-alloy particles, metal colloids and nano-metal supported catalysts.
