Description
Ruthenium(III) tris(acetylacetonate) can be used to make heterogeneous catalysts. It is a MOCVD precursor compound and a homogeneous catalyst. For example, specific tritiation in the hydrolysis of sodium borohydride and aromatic carboxylic acid. It can also be used as an enantioselective hydrogenation catalyst for aryl acrylic acid and aryl propionic acid. Catalyzes the hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate to ethylene glycol under mild conditions.
