Description
Main Characteristics of Platinum Carbon:
High selectivity and activity, long lifespan, can be cycled dozens of times in the same system; small dosage, less than 10% of Raney nickel; can be used to catalyze reactions at low temperatures, low pressures, or even at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. Platinum carbon can be recycled, purified, and reprocessed.
Applications of Platinum Carbon:
Hydrogenation of olefins, alkynes, oximes, nitriles, phenols, naphthalene, pyridine, benzene, alcohols, aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes, nitroaromatic compounds, aromatic nitriles, oximes, amines, ketones, aromatic heterocyclic compounds, cyclohexane, and other reactions. Platinum carbon can also be used for the oxidation of hydrocarbons, CO, and NH3, as well as for dehydrogenation reactions of cycloalkanes, cycloalkenes, cycloalkanols, cycloalkanones, alkanes, and alcohols, and reduction of nitrogen oxides and pyrrole derivatives.
